Directions to San Miguel from Leon Airport & Mexico City:
Leon Airport:
We highly recommend that you fly into Leon (BJX), and then get an airport shuttle to San Miguel (approx. 1 to 1 1.5 hour shuttle ride). Shuttle service can be arranged through one of the several shuttle agencies in town (located on our Travel/Accomodations page).
Mexico City:
Another less expensive option to get to San Miguel is to fly into Mexico City, and then take a bus from the airport to San Miguel (about a 4 hour bus ride). The bus service from Mexico City is first class on very clean and luxurious buses, and costs about US $50. A small meal is provided, a movie is shown, and restroom facilities are available on the bus.
Directions to Villas de Allende from inside of San Miguel:
From El Jardin:
Villas de Allende is just a 25 minute walk from the Jardín (Town Square). Go two blocks on Canal; make a left on Zacateros which becomes Ancha de San Antonio (the road that goes to Mega and Pollo Feliz). In about 5 minutes make a right unto Calle Josefina Orozco. Villas de Allende is ahead on the right.
From Mega:
Ancha de San Antonio to the Glorieta (Roundabout) and make a left going towards Libramiento a Dolores Hidalgo. Villas de Allende will be on the right 500 meters from Glorieta.
